SING & DANCE
Ages 3-6 & 5-8 is designed for the pre-K, Kindergarten and early elementary grade boys and girls who love singing, acting and dancing. They will be instructed to pre-ballet and tap fundamentals and will incorporate their new skills in a song and dance number from a Broadway show. Live piano accompaniment. (2 Levels) CALL FOR PLACEMENT.
BROADWAY KIDS
Ages 3-6, similar to Sing & Dance, with more emphasis on imaginative play while working on a performance piece.
PERFORMING ARTS WORKSHOP
Ages 8 - 12 is the backbone of the Lundstrum Center curriculum. Students enrolled will undergo training in the three basic disciplines of Broadway musical theatre performance: dance (ballet, tap, intro to musical theatre), voice (vocal technique & performance), and drama (acting technique). They will integrate these new skills into scenes and production numbers from Broadway shows.

JUNIOR CONSERVATORY
Ages 10-13 Intensive program for students who are willing to make a serious commitment to advancing their performance skills. Classes for these students are divided over two days per week allowing for extended time in acting, jazz, tap, ballet, and vocal tech & performance. In addition, the group meets once a week to explore, study, and refine their Broadway Musical Theater repertoire.

BROADWAY ARTS CONSERVATORY
Ages 13 - 22, students will get a professional Broadway training experience, working on scenes from Broadway shows directed by international triple threat Musical Theatre veterans! Dance classes will include: tap, ballet, jazz, and Broadway repertoire. Voice will include “Legit” and “Broadway” technique and songs from Broadway shows. Drama will include acting classes and scenes from musical theatre repertoire. This curriculum will challenge the range of experienced kids as well as encourage the talented beginner.

BOYS CREW
Ages 8-12 is a performance class for boys. Students are instructed in ballet and jazz fundamentals, exploring rhythm, timing, sequence, jumps, leaps, turns, and hiphop choreography. Acting technique is also included, with focus on comedy, improv, and teamwork.
DANCEMANIA
This class is designed to meet the needs of children 5-12 and teens with special needs through dance & music. It allows the children to be successful at their own stage of development.

BALLET
Ballet is the foundation of dance training. In ballet class the dancer learns basic posture, core placement, vocabulary, extension, line and stretch. Lundstrum Center requires all conservatory students to study ballet. Several levels of classes are offered, from beginning to advanced-intermediate. Ballet classes are accompanied by a live pianist whenever possible. Dance attire required. (Open Adult Classes Offered Wed. 11:00-12:15*)

JAZZ & MUSICAL THEATRE REPERTOIRE
These classes are offered to the advanced student and professional dancer. Class includes: a comprehensive warm-up, a challenging center barre and adagio. Floor combinations explore the styles of Bob Fosse, Michael Bennett, Tommy Tune, Peter Gennaro, Susan Stromman, Rob Marshall, Jerome Robbins and other giants in dance theatre history.
EVERYBODY DANCE NOW
A non stop cardio dance class. Free flowing, moving, grooving, and feeling the beat. Each song will generate a new style of movement inspired by the global dance culture…Get lost in the music. (Adult Class*) -not listed in brochure
TAPPY HOUR
Learn the basic vocabulary of tap, rhythms, weight changes, balance, foot articulation, shuffles, flaps, and time steps. (Adult Class*)
DOROTHY'S TAP
Dance to the tunes of Broadway shows. Enjoy music of the 40’s played live on the piano, as well as original music arranged by Marion and Lorraine Lundstrum. Sometimes we can even sing a song or two! (Adult Class*)
TURBO TAP
Percussive style of dance, using primarily the legs, making a louder, more grounded sound. Common steps include the shuffle ball change, flap heel, cramproll, pullbacks, wings, stomp, brushes, and scuffs. (Adult/Teen Class*)
